Hi. My name is Shirley. I was previously in the social sector helping individuals with disabilities to find employment. Completing the EdUp Data Analytics course helped facilitate my career switch to a business analyst/ project implementation role within the IT sector.

The lessons were interesting with daily quizzes to help learners recap the topic. Learning new concepts such as Python can be overwhelming for beginners like me but the instructor was able to break down the information into digestible chunks.

How has the EdUp course helped you secure your new role?

The course has equipped me with the additional tools/ advantages to do data analysis for project implementation roles.

I find the practical hands-on session of Python programming very useful. It will help me relate to developers in my new role through key techniques such as problem decomposition, pattern recognition, and algorithms to analyse a problem and develop solutions.
